Sunshine is prevalent no matter what part of Texas you visit throughout the year. Texas winters are usually mild, but it can get cold in the northern parts of the state. Summer provides the perfect opportunity to enjoy the multitude of lakes and swimming holes around Texas. May to October is definitely the perfect period for golf. The gulf coast beaches are accessible all year long with nice warm and dry weather.
